Not only did the Hornets jerseys get a makeover, the entire court in the arena did too. The Fleur de Bee logo is now featured at center court.

The entire border of the court is now Creole blue with "New Orleans Hornets" under both baskets in Gold. The font of "New Orleans Hornets" matches the same font used on the new uniforms.

The NOLA Horn logo is on the outside of the lane on both ends of the court.

Making First Ever Trip to Camden Yards

                 Oriolepark_medium

I'm coming up to Baltimore for the very first time! Since my Dad wasn't able to make it to New York with me I convinced him to make the trip to Baltimore to watch the Yankees play the O's. We're going to be flying into Baltimore on Friday August 22nd and staying until Monday August 25th. Right now I have tickets for the Saturday night game down the first base line in section 3. I'm still working on getting tickets for the Friday and Sunday games. We're planning on taking the tour of the stadium and visiting both the Babe Ruth and Sport Legends Museums. I was wondering what would be some other cool things to do while we are in town. Let me know if anybody is planning on going to any of the games that weekend and we can meet up. Also if anybody has ticket to the Friday and Sunday games that they would like to get rid of please let me know.

Back From New York in One Piece

I had an absolute blast in New York. The two games that we went to couldn't have been any better. Well, maybe the Tuesday game could have been a little less stressful. But besides that it was perfect. On Monday we sat next to 3 other O's fans and I have to say that I was surprised to see so much orange in our section. There was a whole group of O's fans towards the bottom of our section and others scattered throughout our section. We dominated pretty much all of Monday's game so the Yankee fans didn't really have much to cheer about. We didn't get harassed by any Yankee fans the whole time we were there, which surprised me. We just heard the occasional "Baltimore Sucks!" every so often. The highlight of the whole trip had to be when my boy Dr. Jones hit his first career grand slam. The ball landed about 4 sections away from where we were sitting and as soon as he hit it I started going nuts. You're never going to guess who I met in the airport. Leaving For New York

                                      13_medium

(Going Back to The Scene of The Crime)

I'm leaving for New York tomorrow morning at 7:45. I'm so excited! I get into D.C. (Reagan) at 11:45 am and have a 38 minute layover. Then I leave from there at noon and get into New York (La Guardia)  at 1:15 pm. All in all it shouldn't be that bad. Hopefully I'll be able to get some autographs before the game since I'm going to be sitting right by the O's bullpen. Maybe I can get Flat Breezy to autograph my hat. I'm not going to have my laptop with me so I'm not going to be able to post while I'm in the NYC. I'll make sure to take a lot of pictures so I can post them when I get back. If anybody is going to either of the Monday or Tuesday games just call me on my cell, (504) 875-7007, so we can meet up. Everybody watching at home just look in the left field bleachers for a guy in Orange, it'll probably be me.

Going to O's Yankees Series in New York

                    O's @ Yankees July 28-30

1288409827_40f1509b0a_medium

I posted this about a month ago but I wanted to post a newer version now that it's less than 2 weeks away from the series. I'm flying up to New York from New Orleans with a friend of mine (My Dad was suppose to come but he's not going to be able to make it) for the O's Yankees series on July 28-30. I wanted to see if there were any CCers in the New York area that are going to be going to the game and would like to meet up. We'll be sitting in Section 57 of the bleachers right by the Orioles bullpen for both the Monday and Tuesday night games. It would be great if we could get a bunch of O's fans to pack Yankee Stadium just like the Yankees do when they come to our place. I also have 2 tickets for the Sunday game that I'm not going to be using because our flight leaves at 6 and if I went to the game that would be cutting it to close. So if anybody would like to use them just let me know, they are also in Section 57 of the Bleachers.  Just give me a call on my cell (504)-875-7007 if you want to meet up. I can't wait, I'm literally counting down the hours until we leave!
